The numbers vary, depending on who's counting, when it's being counted and what angle you look at it, but Hawaiʻi is up there at the top or second to the top of the list of states with the highest cost of living. Why? There are many reasons and conspiracy theories and rumors why our native Hawaiians top the count of people who move away from paradise or so struggle to stay and line the streets in tents, houseless in their homelands. Those who stay no matter what, pay the cost because its home. This is not the post to investigate those reasons. But definitely we grandmas are talking about it to find solutions. That day is coming when the grandmas will be talking.
